Job Description for Housekeeping on Cruise Ship

Chief Steward: US$ 3,400 - 3,800 per month. Supervisor of the housekeeping department: cabin services, room services, bell services, passenger baggage handling and distribution. Requires: Must speak English reasonably well /Ability to meet deadlines /Good Organiser and Communicator.

Cabin Steward/Stewardess: US$ 1,800 – 2,200 per month. Responsible for keeping clean and neat a section of passenger cabins at all times. Requires: Deal with passengers in a professional manner. Experience on Ships or in a hotel ashore.

Bell Man: US$ 1,300 – 1,600 per month. Transfer passenger luggage to and from ship for each cruise. Must be able to lift heavy objects.

Deck Steward: US$ 1,100 – 1,400 per month. Keep deck and pool areas clean.
